CAA permit and Operational Manual

Hi,
On 02.09, the CAA issued us a permit for the operation of unmanned aircraft systems within the framework of model aircraft clubs for the area of the MD Ventus Vipava model flying zone in accordance with the first edition of the Operational Manual Part A and Part B.
The Operational Manual (currently available only in slovene language) describes the rules and conditions under which we fly in the model zone. Part A lists the procedures and rules that apply to all clubs, and Part B contains specific rules for the model zone.
The manual is quite extensive, so it takes a long time to process. According to it, we must read it and sign a declaration that we are familiar with the content and that we will act in accordance with the provisions of the Operational Manual. This grants us the right to fly in the model zone. This applies to all existing and new members. Since the relevant information is the same for all flying zone users, the application form is the same for new and old members. A new list of members will be established, where the required information will be collected.
You can get the declaration form in the club's premises, where you can also leave the signed declaration.
Some basic information from the manual is posted on a board next to a small container by the fence.
We would especially like to encourage everyone who teaches children to fly to carefully read the chapter on mentoring.
Another very important innovation is that the rules and exceptions apply to all models, whenever they are flown in the model flying zone, regardless of weight (even under 250 g).
